Klar und doch einfühlsam bringt er seine Stimme ins Spiel .. es ist verdammt gute Musik .. Meine Favoriten sind ‘Emmanuelle Beart’ und ‘Ride’ beide über alle Maßen charmant und wie der Rest der CD exzellent arrangiert. Ein Vergnügen.

Während viele verschiedene Einflüsse auf Bodies zu hören sind, erinnert mich Tobias’ Stil und Darbietung vor allem an George Harrison.

Trailhead’s Bodies In The Basement is, in a word, beautiful. The melodies are fresh but familiar, the lyrics are carefully constructed, and the production is wonderfully woven. While Trailhead exhibits many influences on Bodies, I find Tobias’s style and delivery mostly reminiscent of George Harrison. Oh, and maybe mix in a little of the pop sensibility of Glen Phillips. It’s really good modern Americana.

Brightly and yet intimately he applies his voice .. its damn good music .. My favourite tunes are ‘Emmanuelle Beart’ and ‘Ride’ both of which are overflowing with charm as well as the standard structural excellence. It’s a pleasure.
