Warum habe ich das gemacht?
ENGLISH BELOW Warum macht man überhaupt die Dinge, die man tut? Woher kommen die Ideen, die Inspirationen? Nun gut, ich bin seit jeher gern zu Fuß unterwegs, doch mesitens in ebenen Regionen. Das liegt vielleicht daran, dass die höchster Erhebung meiner Berlin-Brandenburger Heimat mit 201,4 Metern die Heidehöhe ist. Berge gibt es bei uns keine. man muss weit fahren, um welche zu Gesicht zu bekommen.
Vielleicht war es ja diese Verlockung, mich in fernen Bergregionen zu verlieren, oder eine gesunde Portion Masochismus, die mich dazu bewogen hat, zu Fuß die Alpen zu überqueren. In 30 Tagen von Salzburg nach Triest, bis ans Mittelmeer. Vielleicht wollte ich auch einfach nur ans Mittelmeer und die Alpen lagen halt dazwischen, also musste ich rüber. Haha.
Unterwegs habe ich mich oft gefragt, warum zur Hölle ich mir das antue. Hier und da konnte ich dann aber doch noch verschnaufen, um spontan ein paar Sequenzen zu drehen, die ich für das Video meines Bergsongs "White flag" verwenden wollte.
Du kannst mir hier also ein wenig auf meinem Weg über die Alpen folgen.

Why did I do this?
Why do we do all the things we do? Where do ideas and inspiration come from? Well, true, I've always loved to walk, but mostly in flat regions though. Perhaps this is because the highest point in my Berlin-Brandenburg home is the Heidehöhe at 201.4 meters. There are no mountains here. You have to travel far to see some.
Maybe it was this temptation to lose myself in distant mountain regions, or a healthy dose of masochism that made me want to cross the Alps on foot. In 30 days from Salzburg to Trieste, to the Mediterranean coast. Probably I just wanted to get to the mediterranean sea and the Alps happened to be in my way. Haha.
On the way I've often wondered about why the hell I'm doing this to myself. But here and there I could take a breath and found some moments to spontaneously shoot scenes for the video of my mountain song "White Flag".
